About

All collections are designed and made in Naarm/Melbourne by interdisciplinary artist Gaia Maria Walicka. Gaia has background in theatre and the broader visual arts and was later drawn to jewellery, as one of most ancient art forms. The collections are inspired by the jewellery object in relationship to the body, ritual and the in-between. The design process comes from a combination of concept, material experimentation and intuitive processes.

SUSTAINABILITY

Committed to sustainability and environmental decision making, the collections are made using recycled 925 sterling silver. All pieces are made to order or one-off in order to avoid any excess production. Materials are bought from reputable sources and some of the stones selected are lab grown rather then mined, this largely reduces the environmental impact and unethical practices caused by mining.
