The jewellery is handmade with unique textures, surfaces and patina treatments that are designed to wear and change over time, this is the part of the natural process and life of jewellery.

 

Some of the jewellery is blackened through the process of oxidisation, or a has a frosty silver finish through a technique called depletion gilding. These finishes may wear and change over time, revealing more of the surface silver, building its own story. This process will occur faster with rings then earrings due to constant contact and abrasion with the skin. The black oxidisation finish can be reapplied with liver of sulfur or milox available at most jewellery supply stores.

 

Avoid exposure to household chemicals, chlorine, soaps and other acidic products. To best protect jewellery remove when showering, swimming or bathing. Treat your piece with care, silver is a soft metal and stones can crack, especially with rings, it is recommended to remove your rings when doing ruff physical activity.
